La Entrada (The Entrance) 2006 This is a 3 minute clip from a 12 minute performance of 'La Entrada'. Performed in 2006 in Salzburg, Austria. Choreography by Lilián Pineda. 'La Entrada' is based on the idea of 'The General Systems Theory' of the
Austrian biologists Ludwig von Bertalanffy. Entropy (meaning
transformation) is the process in which a system tends to be consumed
and disorganized. Based on the 2nd Law of Thermo-dynamics, the Law of
Entropy says that isolated systems tend to die. |
